Checking contamination of the air filter:
Air filter maintenance is necessary when the yellow piston 9 inside the maintenance indicator 6
reaches the red zone 8 .
Check the air filter maintenance indicator.
If the yellow piston reaches the red zone, clean or replace the filter insert 4 .
Cleaning the air filter:
The dust evacuator valve 2 must be at the bottom. The dust evacuation valve is on the filter
cap 1 .
1. Press both spring retaining flaps 3 together and remove the filter cap 1 .
2. Withdraw the filter element 4 .
3. Clean the filter housing 5 , filter cap 1 and sealing surfaces.
4. To empty the dust evacuator valve 2 :
Pinch the valve part 10 above the drain slit 11 (drain slit opens).
Remove any dust clumps.
Clean the slit.
