Note: The orientations marked with “!” are conditionally accepted, when the assumptions below are fulfilled.
(1) District heating/cooling water must be clean and must not contain any kind of dirt. Dirt can otherwise be
deposited on the transducers of the flow sensor, which affects their ability to detect and transmit the
ultrasound signal.
(2) District heating water must be free of air. Air bubbles will interfere severely with the ultrasound signal.
