What to do if KEM MKC-710 show 'Meas. Over!'?
    • A
      Amanda JonesAug 6, 2025
If your KEM Measuring Instruments display 'Meas. Over!', it means the measurement exceeds the instrument's range. Try changing the catholyte, and if necessary, also change the anolyte. If a single measurement exceeds 300mgH2O, reduce the sample size to not exceed this limit and try again.

What to do if KEM MKC-710 Measuring Instruments show 'Over Titr!'?
    • C
      Christopher CrawfordAug 12, 2025
If your KEM Measuring Instruments display 'Over Titr!', it indicates over-titration. This can occur if the reagent in the cell has too much iodine, or if the titration cell is under direct sunlight, or if the anode is stained. Add water to the cell. Refrain from direct sun’s rays or use a brown cell. Clean the inner burette and the electrode.

What to do if KEM MKC-710 Measuring Instruments show 'Electrode short!'?
    • P
      Pamela QuinnAug 18, 2025
If your KEM Measuring Instruments display 'Electrode short!', it could be due to several reasons. It may be because the twin Pt pins of the electrode are in contact, it is over-titration, or the tip of the electrode is cracked. Correct the two pins to extend in parallel. Add water to polarize the cell. Replace the detection electrode.

How to fix 'Electrode Open!' error on KEM Measuring Instruments?
    • T
      Tyler SmithAug 25, 2025
If your KEM Measuring Instruments display an 'Electrode Open!' error, it could be due to a disconnected connecting cable or a broken/loosely connected electrode cable. Check the connection between the detection electrode and stirrer. If the cable is broken, replace the electrode.

What to do if KEM MKC-710 Measuring Instruments show 'Current Error!'?
    • J
      Jason WashingtonAug 30, 2025
If your KEM Measuring Instruments display 'Current Error!', it suggests that the sample liquid resistance is too high, or the electrode cable is broken, preventing current flow for electrolysis in the inner cell. Check the electrode connection and reduce the sample size.
