(4) If an error does not occur, the sensitivity correction coefficient is updated and saved in the
EEPROM.
(5) When the calibration is finished, the screen returns to the [BAL] menu.
Use a 50 g standard calibration weight for calibrating sensitivity.

Calibrate temperature in the service mode only if the thermistor was replaced. In all other cases, calibrate
temperature in the user mode. If temperature is calibrated in the service mode, it does not need to be
calibrated in the user mode.
Calibrate sensitivity using the same operations as in the user mode.
Procedure
(1) In the service mode, select [NVRAM]
[EDIT] and rewrite addresses as indicated below.
(2) In the se

ice menu, select [CAL]
[TEMP].
(3) Calibrate temperature.
(4) When the calibration is finished, the screen returns to the [TEMP] menu.
Temperature is measured at two points for temperature calibration, 100 °C and 180 °C, but if these
measurement values are not within ±10 °C range of the target temperature, verify that the heater,
thermistor, and temperature calibration kit are attached properly and that the power supply voltage is
correct, and then calibrate temperature again.

To allow determining the halogen heater service life and user usage status, clear the heater operating
time counter (cumulative count).
The procedure is described below.
(1) In the service menu, select cumulative count.
(2) In the cumulative count display, press the [ ] key to display "CLEAR."
(3) Press the [Enter] key. When "OK?" appears, press the [Enter] key again.
