The trigger source is set to "Bus" and waiting for trigger.

Adapter Status
The adapter status of E4990A shows types of adapter in used.

Ext1
Adapter 4TP 1m.
Ext2
Adapter 4TP 2m .
Probe
Adapter Probe 42941A or 42941A Extension.
7mm
Adapter 7mm 42942A or 42942A Extension.
When no adapter to be chosen, the adapter status will not
appear.
External Reference Signal
When the frequency reference signal is input to the Reference Signal Input
(REF IN) on the rear panel and the measurement signal of the E4990A is
phase-locked to the reference signal, ExtRef is displayed in blue.

Measurement signal is not phase-locked to the
external reference signal.
ExtRef (displayed in
blue)
Measurement signal is phase-locked to the
external reference signal.
ExtRef(displayed in
gray)
Internal reference signal is used as frequency
reference signal.
Service Mode Indicator
Indicates the service mode status. The service mode indicator is displayed
when E4990A enters the following state.
