Adapter Selection
The adapter selection setting must be confirmed before measurement in
accordance with the connection status of each accessory. If necessary, it
must be changed to the correct setting.
1. Press Cal > Adapter.
2. Select the corresponding adapter selection from the following:

through the display of the instrument status area.
The 42941A and 42942A can be selected only when
the E4990A is equipped with option 120.
Adapter Setup
Adapter Setup
The adapter setup is a process used to acquire the setup data of the
adapter selected by the Adapter Selection. The adapter setup is normally
performed when using the following accessories with the E4990A for the
first time after it is delivered. The adapter setup should be performed again
