Safety features of your vehicle Seat belts
Front passenger䳓s seat belt warn

ing (if equipped)
As a reminder to the front passen
-
ger, the front passenger䳓s seat belt
warning lights will illuminate for
approximately 6 seconds each time
you turn the ignition switch or
&NGIN& STA3T/ST0P button 0N
regardless of belt fastening.
If you start to drive without the
seat belt fastened or you unfasten
the seat belt when you drive under
20 km/h or stop, the corresponding
warning light will illuminate.
If you start to drive without the
seat belt fastened or you unfasten
the seat belt when you drive 20 km/
h and faster, the warning light will
blink and warning chime will sound
for approximately 100 seconds.
When the seat belt is unfastened
during driving, the warning light will
illuminate when the speed is under
20 km/h. When the speed is 20 km/
h and faster, the warning light will
blink and warning chime will sound
for approximately 100 seconds.
3iding in an improper position
adversely affects the front seat belt
warning system. It is important for
the driver to instruct the passenger
to properly be seated as instructed
in this manual.
䳜 You can find the front passenger䳓s
seat belt warning light on the
centre fascia panel.
䳜 Although the front passenger
seat is not occupied, the seat belt
warning light will blink or illumi

nate for 6 seconds.
䳜 The front passenger's seat belt
warning may operate when lug

gage is placed on the front pas
-
senger seat.
