5.2 Safety equipment
The elevator is provided with safety equipment.
You must maintain the safety components. For more information, see section 8 Safety
component maintenance. The maintenance company is responsible for maintenance
operations, which includes maintenance on the following items:
– Machine brakes
– Overspeed governor
– Safety gear
– Doors
– Elevator car and landing door lock
–Buffers
– UCM monitoring
– Top safety device (optional)
– Pit safety device
