7.4 Preventive maintenance
Preventive maintenance is crucial to maintain the safety of the elevator. Regular checks of
your elevator's safety equipment help to locate defective components before they cause
hazards. As the owner of the building you should make sure that your building is safe for
persons that need to use it.
