10.6 Final limit switch tests
The following sections describe the final limit switch tests.
10.6.1 Testing the upper limit switch

1 Enable the door opening. LCEUI switch 263.
2 Make a car call to the bottom floor from
the maintenance acce
ss panel.
3 Let the doors open and switch on the
Recall Drive Fe
ature (RDF).

4 Close and lock the maintenance access
panel.
5 Load
test weights to the car for at least
60%
of the maximum rated load.
6 Go to the maintenance access panel.
7 Disable the door opening. LCEUI switch 263.
8 Switch off the Recall Drive Feature
(RDF).

9 Make a car call to the topmost floor from
the maintenance acce
ss panel.
10 Switch on the Recall Drive Feature
(RDF).

11 Drive upwards on RDF until the elevator
car hit
s the buffers.
12 Switch off the Recall Drive Feature
(RDF).
