8.9 Belts
Check the belts for:
– Wear and damage
– Incorrect tension
– Lifetime (round trip counter in iMAP displays less than 500 000 round trips)

Before starting work, note the following:

8.9.2 Checking belt condition
Check visually the condition of hoisting belts. No belt d
amages should occur. Refer to
APPENDIX F. Belt faults and criteria for belt replacement for belt damage descriptions.
