Check the ropes for:
– Visible breaks
– Incorrect tension

Before starting work, note the following:
– All safety measures for normal elevator maintenance must be implemented and local

8.8.2 Checking visible breaks
Examination according to visible wire breaks - DIN 15020 sheet 2, transmission groups 2

For further surveillance the prescriptions of DIN 15020 sheet 2 3.4 have to be observed.
