NOTE! Check for the national discarding criteria and checking interval for the elevator
hoisting ropes. If they are more restrictive the above criteria, follow the national code.
8.8.3 Checking rope tension
Check the spring lengths of the suspension rope anchors at the balancing weight side.
Washers at the rope ends should be at the same level. The maximum deviation (X) is 3 mm.
If suspension rope tension deviation exceeds 3 mm, rope tension must be equalized. Tighten
the rope clips if needed.
