7.5.4 Ventilation
The purpose of the ventilation system is to keep the temperatu
re and humidity within the
originally specified values both in the elevator shaft and the elevator car. If the ventilation
does not operate, temperature and humidity may exceed the allowed maximum values,
harming the elevator and making the elevator ride an unpleasant experience. Humidity and
temperature must be kept at the levels specified in original delivery documents.
7.5.5 Telephone lines
Telephone lines may have been connected to your elevator to enab
le a 24-hour connection
between the elevator and the service office or for example building caretaker. To ensure the
safety of your elevator users, the building owner must ensure that this line is functional at all
times, including for at least 1 hour during a power failure in the building.
7.5.6 Electricity
The elevator requires electricity to function. The volt
age must be kept within tolerances
specified in the original delivery documents. To keep the elevator functional it is imperative
that you ensure a constant supply of electricity and that the supplied voltage complies with
the original delivery documents.
