3.13.1 Stability and Reproducibility

To evaluate the stability and reproducibility of the Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) system.

RMI-156 phantom
Imaging cassette
Calibrated dose meter

Procedure
1
Register the patient on the REGIUS Console CS-3/CS-7.
2
Set the REGIUS Console CS-3/CS-7 for a minimum of four exposures under the AEC Checks
exam tag.

Use the same cassette for all exposures in this test.

Position the RMI phantom in the center of the breast support table at the edge of the chest
wall. The phantom should cover the cells used for AEC.

Place the detector of the dose meter on the breast support table next to the RMI phantom. It
should be 4 cm from the chest wall and not over the cells used for AEC.
