32.0 AEC VERIFICATION
To verify the functioning of the AEC:
Use the X-RAY EQUIPMENT in conditions representative of the specied intended use, in terms of geometric settings and
selection of mode of operation, the PATIENT being replaced by a phantom of acrylic or appropriate material, the section
and thickness of which match the INTENDED USE. Acquire 3 images under AEC mode (photo-timed) at constant kVp and
mA settings (according to the PHANTOM) to verify that the exposure time (ms) is reproducible.
