20.11 Moving an Image to Another Exam
You can move images from an existing exam to another.
EXAMPLE: You may need to do this if you acquired an image under the wrong patient study.
NOTE: When moving an image, you should reject the image from its current exam (if it hasn’t already been ac-
cepted), then select the correct exam and recover the raw image from the archive.
1. If necessary, add a new exam to an existing patient study that is going to receive the moved image.
2. Open the original patient exam.
3. Reject the image that you want to move (unless you have already accepted the image).
4. Select the correct receiving exam and go into the Acquire screen.
5. Click the Archive button.
6. The Image Archive window displays.
7. Select the image to recover and click Recover.
NOTE: To select multiple images, select an image and hold down the Ctrl button, select the additional images,
then click Recover.
8. Proceed normally by applying post processing to the image and accepting it.
NOTE: If you have mistakenly accepted an image and sent the image to PACS under the wrong patient, you must
contact your PACS administrator to remove the image from the PACS server.
