 1. Check the emergency stop. By acvang the emergency stop all motorized movements of the posioner are
prevented.
 2. Measure between the X-ray tube focal spot and the acve image receptor surface of the image receptor holder.
The measured SID must correspond with the displayed SID. Check that the SID, shown on the display of both the
Image system and the collimator, correspond with the measured SID/FFD. The SID may dier by ±1%.
 3. Check all hoses for damage.
 4. Check all outer cabling for damage.
 5. Clean all outer surfaces, except for the lubricated column segments. See the “Cleaning” chapter (Secon 34.0)
for cleaning instrucons.
 6. Power up the stand and check all funcons.
 7. Make movements with the stand and observe any irregularies.
