– Fix the main shaft in the vise with the geared end facing downward.
Guideline
Use soft jaws.

Remove stop disk

and second-gear fixed gear


Remove the sixth-gear idler gear


Remove the split needle bearing

and stop disk


Remove lock ring

.
Info
Open the lock ring with a screwdriver and twist it off the transmission shaft with pliers.

Remove the third/fourth-gear sliding gear


Remove lock ring


Remove stop disk

and fifth-gear idler gear

