11.1.6 The scaling function
In the display, you are able to increase or reduce the amplitude of individual curves.
To do so, press the softkey “Channel” until the color of the desired curve is active. The active
color is permanently displayed at the bottom left of the window.
Active color: Blue
Now observe what changes occur when you press the keys “M” or “N” in the ASCII alphabetic
keypad.
Pressing the key “N” in the ASCII alphabetic keypad gradually increases
the amplitude.
Pressing the key “M” in the ASCII alphabetic keypad gradually decreases
the amplitude.
By using this function, it is also possible to clearly display curves which only have a small
deflection or which are hidden by other curves.
The current scale is given in the top area of the display.
