CAUTION
The sliders on the operation handle must be moved in the exact order described in Step 5. Failure to do
so can result in improper attachment of the capsule or no attachment at all.
Atthediscretionofthehealthcareprofessional,conrmthecapsulesattachmentviaendoscope.
Duringtheconrmationprocess,avoidcontactingthecapsulewiththeendoscope.Contactbetween
the endoscope and the capsule can result in the capsule becoming dislodged.
6. Turn off the vacuum pump and then remove the connection from the operation handle.
WARNING
Do not remove the delivery system from the patient while the vacuum pump is still operating. Doing so can
result in dislodgement of the capsule and/or possible injury to the patient’s esophagus.
7. Slowly withdraw the delivery system from the patient’s mouth, as shown in Figure2-15.

IMPORTANT
The handle and the duct of the delivery system are single-use, disposable supplies and cannot be reused.
