When you turn on the generator to heat the screed, the
generator icon changes from red (OFF) to green (ON).
If operating in MANUAL mode, the actual temperature is
shown in black. If operating generator in AUTO mode,
the actual temperature is shown in black.
NOTE: The IDLE throttle speed button ceases to
function when the generator is on. When the
generator turns off, the IDLE functionality
returns.
NOTE: The generator is set at the factory to default
at 2100 RPMs.
Important gauges are shown beneath the row of paving
status icons. (Figure 4-20)

• Bar graphs on the left and right sides of the screen
reect auger speed (set by the operator on the
auger dial if operating in the MANUAL mode).
• The tachometer shows engine RPMs (same gauge
as on the engine screen). The red needle indicates
the actual speed. The set point triangle indicates
speed set points. “Pave Lo” or “Pave Hi” appears in
the tachometer denoting whether operating in low
or high RPMs.
• The set point triangle automatically changes color
when shifting between low gear [green] or high gear
[red]. “FPM-HI [high gear] or “FPM” [low gear] also
displays on the FPM (feet per minute) navigation
banner above Button #4.
• The ground speed gauge displays a digital value
for actual speed and odometer that accumulates
distance in feet. The red needle indicates the
actual ground speed. The green triangle indicates
speed set points.
• The maximum ground speed can be adjusted using
Buttons #3 (-) [decrease] and #4 (+) [increase].

• Pressing and holding the center of the navigation
button ( ) resets the odometer to zero feet.
