Directorupdatesandinterimfixes.

Installinganewerversion
TolocateandinstallanewerversionofSystemsDirector,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.CheckforthelatestversionofSystemsDirector:
a.Gotohttp://www.ibm.com/systems/management/director/downloads.html.
b.IfanewerversionofSystemsDirectorthanwhatcomeswiththeserverisshowninthe
drop-downlist,followtheinstructionsonthewebpagetodownloadthelatestversion.
Step2.InstalltheSystemsDirectorprogram.
InstallingupdateswithyourmanagementserverisconnectedtotheInternet
IfyourmanagementserverisconnectedtotheInternet,tolocateandinstallupdatesandinterimfixes,
completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.MakesurethatyouhaveruntheDiscoveryandInventorycollectiontasks.
Step2.OntheWelcomepageoftheSystemsDirectorwebinterface,clickViewupdates.
Step3.ClickCheckforupdates.Theavailableupdatesaredisplayedinatable.
Step4.Selecttheupdatesthatyouwanttoinstall,andclickInstalltostarttheinstallationwizard.
InstallingupdateswithyourmanagementserverisnotconnectedtotheInternet
