InstallingaRAIDadapterbatteryorflashpowermodule
WhenyouinstallanyRAIDadapterthatcomeswithbatteriesorflashpowermodules,itissometimes
necessarytoinstallthebatteriesorflashpowermodulesinanotherlocationintheservertopreventthe
batteriesorflashpowermodulesfromoverheating.
Dependingonyourservermodel,abatteryorflashpowermodulemustbeinstalledremotelynearthe
opticaldrivecageorthebackplane.The2.5-inchHDDservermodelssupportuptotwobatteriesorflash
powermodules.
ToinstallaRAIDadapterbatteryorflashpowermoduleintheserver,completethefollowingsteps:
