UsetheDocumentationBrowsertobrowsethecontentsoftheCD,readbriefdescriptionsofthedocuments,
andviewdocuments,usingAdobeAcrobatReaderorxpdf.
TheDocumentationBrowserautomaticallydetectstheregionalsettingsinuseinyourserveranddisplays
thedocumentsinthelanguageforthatregion(ifavailable).Ifadocumentisnotavailableinthelanguagefor
thatregion,theEnglish-languageversionisdisplayed.
UseoneofthefollowingprocedurestostarttheDocumentationBrowser:
•IfAutostartisenabled,inserttheCDintotheCDorDVDdrive.TheDocumentationBrowserstarts
automatically.
•IfAutostartisdisabledorisnotenabledforallusers,useoneofthefollowingprocedures:
–IfyouareusingaWindowsoperatingsystem,inserttheCDintotheCDorDVDdriveandclickStart➙
Run.IntheOpenfield,type
e:\win32.bat
whereeisthedriveletteroftheCDorDVDdrive,andclickOK.
–IfyouareusingRedHatLinux,inserttheCDintotheCDorDVDdrive;then,runthefollowing
commandfromthe/mnt/cdromdirectory:
shrunlinux.sh
SelecttheserverfromtheProductmenu.TheAvailableTopicslistdisplaysallthedocumentsforthe
server.Somedocumentsmightbeinfolders.Aplussign(+)indicateseachfolderordocumentthathas
additionaldocumentsunderit.Clicktheplussigntodisplaytheadditionaldocuments.
Whenyouselectadocument,adescriptionofthedocumentisdisplayedunderTopicDescription.Toselect
morethanonedocument,pressandholdtheCtrlkeywhileyouselectthedocuments.ClickViewtoview
theselecteddocumentordocumentsinAcrobatReaderorxpdf.Ifyouselectedmorethanonedocument,
alltheselecteddocumentsareopenedinAcrobatReaderorxpdf.
Tosearchallthedocuments,typeawordorwordstringintheSearchfieldandclickSearch.The
documentsinwhichthewordorwordstringappearsarelistedinorderofthemostoccurrences.Clicka
documenttoviewit,andpressCrtl+FtousetheAcrobatsearchfunction,orpressAlt+Ftousethexpdf
