Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”
onpage31.
Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables,
ifnecessary.
Step3.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage189).
Step4.Disconnectthecablefromthebackoftheoperatorinformationpanelassembly.
Step5.Pullupthebluepointsslightlyontherearofthepaneltowardthefrontoftheserver.

Step6.Fromthefrontoftheserver,carefullypulltheassemblyoutoftheserverwhileyoumoveitslightly
fromsidetoside.
Ifyouareinstructedtoreturntheoperatorinformationpanelassembly,followallpackaginginstructions,
anduseanypackagingmaterialsforshippingthataresuppliedtoyou.
Replacingtheoperatorinformationpanelassembly
Usethisinformationtoreplacetheoperatorinformationpanelassembly.
Toinstalltheoperatorinformationpanel,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”
onpage31.
Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables,
ifnecessary.
Step3.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage189).
Step4.Fromthefrontoftheserver,slidetheoperatorinformationpanelintotheserveruntilitclicks
intoplace.
