WhenahardwareeventisdetectedbytheIMMontheserver,theIMMlogsthateventinthesystem-event
logintheserver.
Foreacheventcode,thefollowingfieldsaredisplayed:
Eventidentifier
Ahexadecimalidentifierthatuniquelyidentifiesaneventorclassofevents.Inthisdocumentation,the
eventidentifiersareprefixedwith0xandfollowedbyeightcharacters.
Eventdescription
Theloggedmessagestringthatappearsforanevent.Whentheeventstringisdisplayedinthe
system-eventlog,informationsuchasaspecificcomponentisdisplayed.Inthisdocumentation,that
additionalinformationappearsasvariables,suchas[arg1]or[arg2].
Explanation
Additionalinformationtoexplainwhytheeventoccurred.
Severity
Anindicationofthelevelofconcernforthecondition.Inthesystem-eventlog,severityisabbreviatedto
thefirstcharacter.Thefollowingseveritiescanbedisplayed.
Info:
Theeventwasrecordedforauditpurposes,usuallyauseractionorachangeofstatesthatis
normalbehavior.
Warning:
Theeventisnotassevereasanerror,butifpossible,theconditionshouldbecorrectedbeforeit
