Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectthepowercords.
Step3.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage189).
Step4.Installtheflashdevice:

a.AligntheflashdevicewiththeconnectoronthesystemboardandpushitintotheUSB
connectoruntilitisfirmlyseated.
b.PressdownontheretentionlatchtolocktheflashdeviceintotheUSBconnector.
Step5.Reconnectthepowercordsandanycablesthatyouremoved.
Step6.Replacethecover(see“Replacingthecover”onpage190).
Step7.Slidetheserverintotherack.
Step8.Turnontheperipheraldevicesandtheserver.
