Important:
1.Whenyoureassemblethecomponentsintheserver,besuretorouteallcablescarefullysothattheyare
notexposedtoexcessivepressure.
2.Whenyoureplacethesystemboard,youmusteitherupdatetheserverwiththelatestfirmwareorrestore
thepre-existingfirmwarefromadisketteorCDimage.Makesurethatyouhavethelatestfirmware
oracopyofthepre-existingfirmwarebeforeyouproceed.See“Updatingthefirmware”onpage
93,“UpdatingtheUniversalUniqueIdentifier(UUID)”onpage110,and“UpdatingtheDMI/SMBIOS
data”onpage112formoreinformation.
3.Whenyoureplacethesystemboard,makesurethatyouremovetheIntegratedManagementModule
AdvancedUpgradeandplaceitonthenewsystemboard.ForinformationabouttheAdvanced
Upgrade,see“Usingtheremotepresenceandblue-screencapturefeatures”onpage105.
