Workinginsidetheserverwiththepoweron

Attention:Staticelectricitythatisreleasedtointernalservercomponentswhentheserverispowered-on
mightcausetheservertohalt,whichmightresultinthelossofdata.Toavoidthispotentialproblem,

Youmighthavetohavetheserverturnedonwhilethecoverisoff,tolookatlightpathdiagnosticsLEDsor

•Avoidwearingloose-fittingclothingonyourforearms.Buttonlong-sleevedshirtsbeforeworkinginside
theserver;donotwearcufflinkswhileyouareworkinginsidetheserver.
•Donotallowyournecktieorscarftohanginsidetheserver.
•Removejewelry,suchasbracelets,necklaces,rings,andloose-fittingwristwatches.
•Removeitemsfromyourshirtpocket,suchaspensandpencils,thatcouldfallintotheserverasyou
leanoverit.
•Avoiddroppinganymetallicobjects,suchaspaperclips,hairpins,andscrews,intotheserver.

Usethisinformationtohandlestatic-sensitivedevices.
Attention:Staticelectricitycandamagetheserverandotherelectronicdevices.Toavoiddamage,keep
static-sensitivedevicesintheirstatic-protectivepackagesuntilyouarereadytoinstallthem.
Toreducethepossibilityofdamagefromelectrostaticdischarge,observethefollowingprecautions:
•Limityourmovement.Movementcancausestaticelectricitytobuilduparoundyou.
