youacknowledgethatyouareawareofthelastfailurebutwillnottakeimmediateactiontocorrect
theproblem.InRemindmode,thesystem-errorLEDflashesevery2secondsuntiloneofthe
followingconditionsoccurs:
–Allknownerrorsarecorrected.
–Theserverisrestarted.
–Anewerroroccurs,causingthesystem-errorLEDtobelitagain.
•Resetbutton:Pressthisbuttontoresettheserverandrunthepower-onself-test(POST).Youmight
havetouseapenortheendofastraightenedpapercliptopressthebutton.TheResetbuttonisin
thelower-rightcornerofthelightpathdiagnosticspanel.
Thesystemservicelabelinsidetheservercoverprovidesanoverviewofinternalcomponentsthat
correspondtotheLEDsonthelightpathdiagnosticspanel.Thisinformationandtheinformationin

canoftenprovideenoughinformationtodiagnosetheerror.
3.RemovetheservercoverandlookinsidetheserverforlitLEDs.Certaincomponentsinsidetheserver
haveLEDsthatarelittoindicatethelocationofaproblem.
