Theservercanbeturnedoffinanyofthefollowingways:
•Youcanturnofftheserverfromtheoperatingsystem,ifyouroperatingsystemsupportsthisfeature.After
anorderlyshutdownoftheoperatingsystem,theserverwillturnoffautomatically.
•Youcanpressthepower-controlbuttontostartanorderlyshutdownoftheoperatingsystemandturnoff
theserver,ifyouroperatingsystemsupportsthisfeature.
•Iftheoperatingsystemstopsfunctioning,youcanpressandholdthepower-controlbuttonformore
than4secondstoturnofftheserver.
•TheservercanbeturnedoffbyWakeonLANfeaturewiththefollowinglimitation:
Note:WhenyouinstallanyPCIadapter,thepowercordsmustbedisconnectedfromthepowersource
beforeyouremovethePCIExpressriser-cardassemblyandthePCI-Xriser-cardassembly.Otherwise,
theWakeonLANfeaturemightnotwork.
•TheIntegratedManagementModule(IMM)canturnofftheserverasanautomaticresponsetoacritical
systemfailure.
