2.Insertthecardintotheslotwiththenotchededgefacingupward.Thenpressthecardrmlyintothe
connector.
ToinsertaSmartcardintotheExpressCardslot,dothefollowing:
1.InserttheSmartcardreaderintothe54mm-wideExpressCardslot.
2.InserttheSmartcardintotheSmartcardreader.MakesurethattheSmartcardiscorrectlyoriented.
Notes:
•TheSmartcardmustbeinstalledwithaSmartcardreader.TheSmartcardreadershouldbein
compliancewiththeFIPS2.0.

1.Makesurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
2.InsertthecardrmlyintotheMediacardreaderslot.Thecardmaystopbeforeitiscompletely
installedintotheslot.
IftheExpressCard,FlashMediaCard,orSmartcardisnotPlug-and-Play,dothefollowing:
ForWindows7:
1.OpenControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconrmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
