Step5.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainstheDIMMtoanyunpaintedmetalsurfaceonthe
outsideoftheserver.Then,removetheDIMMfromthepackage.
Step6.TurntheDIMMsothattheDIMMkeysaligncorrectlywiththeconnector.
Step7.InserttheDIMMintotheconnectorbyaligningtheedgesoftheDIMMwiththeslotsattheendof
theDIMMconnector.FirmlypresstheDIMMstraightdownintotheconnectorbyapplyingpressure
onbothendsoftheDIMMsimultaneously.Theretainingclipssnapintothelockedpositionwhen
theDIMMisfirmlyseatedintheconnector.
Attention:IfthereisagapbetweentheDIMMandtheretainingclips,theDIMMhasnotbeen
correctlyinserted;opentheretainingclips,removetheDIMM,andthenreinsertit.
Step8.Repeatsteps5through7untilalltheneworreplacementDIMMsareinstalled.
