Pre-Delivery Checklist
Perform these checks and make adjustments as requi
red
prior to delivery to your customer. See the
Operator's Manual for adjustment details.

CAUTION: Carefully follow the instructions given. Be alert
for
safety related messages
which
bring
your
attention
to
hazards
and
unsafe
practices.

Check
for
damage or
missing
parts
. Remove plastic or
tape
from
air cleaner
intake
and muffler exhaust.
o
Turn
SMV
sign
reflective
side
out.
o Remove shipping skid shoes from front legs and shipping support from walking beam
(yellow
parts).
o Install tires
and
torque to specifications. Check tire air pressures and adjust
as
required.
o
Check
power
wheel
lubricant
level.
o
Check
engine coolant level
and
strength at reserve tank.

Check
air cleaner
and
connections.
CJ
Check
hydraulic
oil
level
and
check for leaks along lines.
CJ
Check engine oil level.
CJ
Check
fuel
sediment
bowl
for
water & foreign material.
Drain
and
clean
as
necessary.
Add
fuel.
o Check
bevel
gear box lubricant level.

Check linkage operation at injector
pump
.
CJ
Check tension of engine
belts
.
CJ
Install a properly
sized
and
fully
charged battery
and
connect cables.
D Lubricate the machine completely.
D Check neutral start system properly adjusted.
o Check
and
adjust park
brake
tension.
START
ENGINE
AND
RUN
TO
OPERATING TEMPERATURE.
D Check instrument console
gauges
and
interior lights for operation.
D Check engine
oil
pressure indicator light
at
instrument console.
D Check alternator charge
rate
at
instrument console.
D Check
fue
l gauge for
operation.
o Check maximum (no
load)
