Driving the Wind rower (continued)
TO DRIVE REARWARD;
A
WARNING: Back up slowly. Steering
Is opposite to normal when
reversing. Hold steering wheel at
the bottom and turn wheel In
direction you want the rear of the
machine to travel.
1. Move speed-range co ntrol to field position (A)
(dual speed units).
2. Move throttle lever
to a mid-range position (6).
NOTE: Reversing in low speed-range and at
reduced engine sp ee d is recomme nd ed s in ce
steering will be le ss sensitive than at higher
speed settings.

CAUTION: Check again to be sure
all bystanders have cleared the
area,
3. Move variable ground spe ed lever (C)
rearward to desired speed.
