SCREENS AND COOLERS
RADIATOR SCREEN
The radiator screen may be equipped wi
th
an
automatic cleaning device which "Vacuums
u
the
screen
by
means
of
two
rotors. If the rotors
(A)
should stop turning,
check
electrical connections
to
motor (8). The electrieal circuit is protected by
a
7.5 amp in·line fuse at (G). To check fuse,
remove outer cover,
If rotors fail to clean the screen adequately I
remove plastic arm and check for obstructions in
dueling from screen to fan shroud.
For units not equipped with cleaning device,
manually cl
ea
n the screen periodically during a
day's operation. Do not allow excessive trash
build-up.
NOTE:
The
rotary cleaning device
may
be
ordered as
an
attachment.
RADIATOR (C),
OIL
COOLER (D)
and
CONDENSER (E) - Should
be
cleaned daily with
compressed air. More frequent cleaning may
be
necessary
in
severe conditions.
For access to oil cooler and condenser, open
engine compartment side panels.
For access to radiator, loosen wing nut
(F),
pivot
retainer and swing cooler and condenser mount
out.
