this manual and the Header Openrtor's Manual
completely before operating the windrower.
Contact your dealer if an instruction Is not dear

2. Follow all safety messages In the manuals and
on safety signs on the windrowrer.
3. Remember thai YOU are the key to safety.
Good safety pnoclices protect you and the
people around you.
4. Before allowing others to openrte the
windrower, for however short a time or
distance. make sure they have been instructed
in its safe and proper use.
5. Review the manuals, safety signs and all safety
_ items with all openrtors annually.
6. Be alert for other openrtors not using rec0m-
mended procedures or not following safety
precautions. Correct these misIakes imme-
diately. before an accident occurs.
7. Maintain the wlndrower correcIIy. Be sure all
controls are functioning properly before use.
8. Do not modify windrower or remove shiekts.
Unauthorized modHications may impair the
function and/or safety and aIIect machine life.
9. Install a lite extinguisher and keep ~ properly
charged.

To the New Operator
It's natural for an operator to be anxious to get
started with a new machine. Please take the time
to familiarize yourself with the wind rower by
reading the Operator's Manuals and safety signs
before attempting operation. Study the Starting,
Driving and Stopping procedures so you will know
what to ex pect.
