• Be sure the towing vehicle is heavier than the
windrower .
NOTE: Windrow ... weighs 8000 to tOOOO Ills.
(3600 to 4500 kg) depending on heed ... size.
Remember stopping distance !ncreeses when
towing. especially on hils and stopes.
• Do not exceed 16 mph (26 km/h) when towing
windrower.
• Remember that when towing windrower
backwards. slow' moving vehicle emblem,
reftectors and warning lights are not eesiy
visible. ~ is your responsibility to adequately
marl< the load when transponing in this fashion.
• So! light swIIch to FlASHER posltion to activate
amber lamps.
• Do not tOW' the windrower on a roadway at
night, Q( In conditions which reduce visibility.

makes It unsafe to transport under these
conditions.
• Be aware d roadside obsIructions, oncoming
traffic and bridges. Take care when travelling
over rough terrain or on slopes.
5. IMPORTANT : Before towing, plug or cover
muffler exhaust to prevent the turbine from
turn i ng without lubrication . This "free-wheeling "
of the turbocharger can cau se damage .
