Removing cam end bushings

10. Remove bolt (A) from the cam linkage so that tine tube (B)
is free to rotate.

11. Slide the tine tube outboard to expose bushing (A).
12. Remove bushing halves (A). If required, remove the next
tine or plastic finger so the arm can slide off the bushing.
Refer to the following procedures if necessary:

Removing Steel Tines, page 225
Installing Bushings on Six- or Nine-Bat Reels
Once the old tine tube bushing halves have been removed, the new ones can be installed.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, always stop the engine,
remove the key, and engage the safety props before going under the header for any reason.
WARNING
To prevent bodily injury from the fall of a raised reel, always engage the reel safety props before going under the
raised reel for any reason.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure tine tube is supported at all times to prevent damage to the tube or other components.
