Introduction
This chapter introduces the features of the software application. It describes:

The main window – a quick introduction to what the software looks like at
startup and after a measurement.

The Measurement File window.

Result windows – describes the Size History and record view windows
which display the measurement results.

The Measurement Manager – describes the components of this window,
which is used to control measurements.

Average PSD (Particle Size Distribution) and Overlay windows – describes
two windows which are used to display results after optional further pro

cessing by the user.

Menus – explains what each menu command does.

The toolbar – describes the functions of the toolbar buttons.
A complete measurement tutorial is given in Chapter 5. Chapter 6 shows how to
interpret measurement results.
