CABA Local
CABA Local is the standard software program to oper-
ate instruments with built-in screen . In CABA Local
you run the tests, view the measurements, do set-ups
etc.
4.1 Start/Shut down CABA
Local
Start
1] Connect the instrument to the mains. Always
use the power cord supplied with the unit.
2] Switch on the instrument by pressing the ON/
OFF button on the control panel.
3] During the start-up procedure the ON/OFF
indication lamp will blink until Windows® XP
starts. Then all indication lamps on the con-
trol panel will lighten up, the OPERATE and
OPERATE/MEASURE lamps blinking.
Note During the start-up procedure do not try to
operate the instrument. If you try to do a
measurement during the start-up you will risk
loosing the recorded data.
4] When the screen below is shown the instru-
ment is ready to run. The Analyzer View is
the start screen that visualizes the link be-
tween instrument and the test object.
Shut down
1] Press the ON/OFF button.
