9.5 Configuring the four DC outputs
As described in 4.4.4 DC outputs, the four DC outputs (DC OUT 1, DC OUT 2, DC OUT 3
and DC OUT 4) on connector J3 of the IOC4T card can be individually configured to provide
either:
• A current-based signal in the range 4 to 20 mA
• A voltage-based signal in the range 0 to 10 V.
This is achieved by setting jumpers J1242, J1243, J1244, J1245 on the IOC4T card
(see Figure 9-26 and Figure 9-25):
• For a current output, place the jumper between contacts 1-2
• For a voltage output, place the jumper between contacts 1-3.
