Adjusttheheightoftheheadrestraintso
thatthetopofitisinlinewiththetopofthe
occupant'shead.Thislocationmayreduce
theriskofneckinjuriesintheeventofa
collision.DONOTadjustorremovethe
headrestraintswhilethecarismoving.
Donothanganythingonanyheadrestraint
orheadrestraintrod.
Theheadrestraintisdesignedtopreventrearward
movementoftheheadintheeventofacollisionor
emergencybraking,therebyreducingtheriskofheadand
neckinjuries.Theheightofsplittypeheadrestraintcan
bemanuallyadjusted.
Whenadjustingaheadrestraintfromlowtohighposition,
pulltheheadrestraintdirectlyupward,andgentlypressit
downwardafteritreachesthedesiredheighttomakesure
thatitislockedinposition.T oremovetheheadrestraint,
pressandholdtheguidesleevebutton(asindicatedbythe
arrow)ontheleftoftheheadrestraint,thenpullthehead
restraintupwardtoremoveit.
Whenadjustingaheadrestraintfromhightolowposition,
presstheguidesleevebutton(asindicatedbythearrow)on
theleftoftheheadrestraint,andpresstheheadrestraint
downward;releasethebuttonafteritreachesthedesired
