Inthefollowingsituations,thedetection
performanceoffrontviewcamerawillbe
affected:
Drivinginpoorweatherconditionswherevisibilityis
reducedduetothickfog,heavyrain,snow,dustorsand
stormetc.
Affectedbylight,forexamplelowlightlevelsatnight,
poorauxiliarylighting,excessivebacklightinginthe
view,lightfromoncomingvehicles,abruptchange
ofbrightnesswithaquickbright/darkjump(tunnel
entrance/exit),drivingonsurfaceswithstrongreective
properties(roadsurfacecoveredwithwaterorsnow),
tunnels,insideabuildingetc.
Thefrontviewcameraispartiallyorfullyblockedby
obstacles,e.g.dust,foreignobjects,oilpollution,mud,
snow,excessivewater(rain),frostorwatersprayfrom
theroadonthewindscreen.
Thewindscreeninviewisdamaged.
Notcalibratedafterremoving/rettingthefrontview
cameraorthewindscreen.
Thefrontviewcameraisnotsecuredinplace.
DescriptionofFrontDetectionRadar
CalibrationofFrontDetectionRadar
Thefrontdetectionradarre-calibrationisrequiredafter
anyofthefollowing:
Thefrontdetectionradarmis-alignmentfailure,for
examplethepositionofthefrontdetectionradarhas
changed.
Remove/retthefrontdetectionradarorradarbracket.
Remove/retthefrontanti-collisionbeam.
Thefour-wheelalignmentparametershavechanged.
Note:Ifthefrontdetectionradarissubjecttostrong
vibrationorslightimpact,themountingpositionof
thefrontdetectionradarneedstobecheckedand
re-calibratedasnecessary.
Note:Thecalibrationoffrontdetectionradarrequires
professionalknowledgeandtools.Ifcalibrationis
required,pleaseseekanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
