Thedrivingassistsystemcandetecttheroadand
environmentalinformationaheadofthevehiclebyutilising
afrontviewcameraandafrontdetectionradarunder
certainconditions.Thisinformationisusedtorelay
warningmessagesorprovideassistancetohelpthedriver
controlthevehiclemoresafelyandreliably.Thefrontview
cameraislocatedintheinteriorrearviewmirrorbase
cover ,thefrontdetectionradarislocatedatthelower
middleofthefrontbumper.
Note:DONOToperateanyinfotainmentswitches
whilstdriving.Ifyouwishtomakeanysettings
changes,pleasepulloverwhenitissafeandlegalto
doso.
DescriptionofFrontViewCamera
CalibrationofFrontViewCamera
Thefrontviewcamerare-calibrationisrequiredafterany
ofthefollowing:
•Removalandrettingofthefrontviewcamera.
•Replacementofthewindscreen.
Note:Thecalibrationoffrontviewcamerarequires
professionalknowledgeandtools.Ifcalibrationis
required,pleaseseekanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
Obstructionofthefrontviewcamera
Onoccasionthefrontviewcameraviewmaybecome
obstructedbyforeignobjectsorstainsontheglass.Inthese
casesapromptmessagewillappearintheinformation
centre.Pleasewipeorcleanimmediately.
