electricwiring,metalcasingandothercomponents.
Itisstronglyrecommendedthattheusedhighvoltage
batterypackgeneratedfromvehiclescrappageorany
otherreasonsshouldbedisposedofbyanMGAuthorised
Repairer.
Note:IfyoudecidenottousetherecommendedMG
AuthorisedRepairertodisposeofyourhighvoltage
battery,theresponsibilityoftheconsequencesof
environmentalpollutionoraccidentsmustbebourne
bytheowner.
DrivingRange
ThedrivingrangeofyourvehicledependsontheHV
batterycondition,quantityofavailableelectricity,vehicle
age(currentremainingbatterylife),weather,temperature,
roadconditionsanddrivinghabitetc.
Therangecanbeaffectedbyotherelectricalloads(suchas
A/C,lightsetc),drivingstyleandgeneralroadconditions.
Itshouldbenotedthat:
•Thedrivingrangeisrelatedtotherateofdischarge.In
ordertoavoidahighrateofdischargefromaffecting
theperformanceofthehighvoltagebatterypack,itis
recommendedthatthevehicleisconnectedtoasuitable
chargeruponilluminationofthelowbatterywarning
lampintheinstrumentpack.
•Theactualdrivingrangeofthevehiclewillreducewith
theincreaseofvehicleage.
•TheuseofA/Cwillreducethedrivingrange.
•Thedrivingrangevariesatdifferentspeeds.
•Atlowtemperatures,thedrivingrangewillbereduced
duetotemperaturecharacteristicsofthebatteryduring
use.
•Insomeinstancesofextremetemperaturesand
lowbatteryvoltage,youmayexperienceinsufcient
accelerationorpowerreduction.Thisisduetobattery
characteristics.
T ohelpincreasetherangeofthevehiclepleaseobserve
thefollowing:
•Havethevehicleregularlymaintainedasperservice
schedule.
•Alwaysensurethetyrepressuresarecorrect.
