DONOTdrivewhenthebonnetisnot
closedorretainedonlybythesafetycatch.
1Fromtheinsideofthevehicle,pullthebonnetrelease
handle(A).
2Movethesafetycatchreleasehandleonthebonnet
lockassemblyinthedirectionofthearrow(B)to
releasethebonnetsafetycatch.
3Raisethebonnetandholditupwiththesupportrod
rmly.
ClosingtheBonnet
Holdthebonnetusingbothhandsandlowerit,allowingit
todropforthelast20~30cmtofullyclosethebonnet.
Byattemptingtoliftthefrontedgeofthebonnet,check
ifthebonnetisfullylockedafterclosingthebonnet.If
thebonnetisnotfullylocked,youmustrepeattheclosing
operation.
BonnetOpenAlarm
Ifthebonnetisnotfullylocked,thecorrespondingalarm
icon(referto"MessageCentre"in"Instrumentsand
Controls"chapter)willbeshownonthemessagecentre
display.Ifitisfoundthatthebonnetisnotfullylocked
whiledriving,anaudiblewarningwillsound.
