asafeplacetostopawayfromthemainroadifpossible.
Alwaysaskyourpassengerstogetoutofthecarandwait
inasafeareaawayfromothertrafc.
Switchonhazardwarninglamps.Ifavailable,position
awarningtriangleabout50to150metresbehindyour
vehicletowarnapproachingtrafc.
Beforechangingawheel,ensurethefrontwheelsarein
thestraightaheadposition.Applytheparkingbrakeand
placethegearshiftleverinPposition.Ensurethevehicle
ispoweredoff.
PositioningtheJack
DONOTworkunderneaththecarwitha
wheelchangingjackastheonlymeansof
support.Thejackisdesignedforwheel
changingonly!
NEVERjackthecarusinganypositions
otherthanthejackingpoints,otherwise
seriousdamagemaybecaused.
Avoidaccidentalcontactwithany
underbodyparts.
Positionthejackonrmlevelgroundunderthejacking
pointnearestthewheeltoberemoved.T urningthejack
screwhandlebyhand,adjustthejackuntilthejackhead
tssnuglyontotheangingofthebody.
