Itisrecommendedthatchildrenbelowtheageof12years
oldshouldbeseatedontherearseatofthevehicle,ina
childrestraintsystemappropriatetothechildren'sweight
andsize.Infantslessthan2yearsoldshouldberestrained
inaninfantchildrestraintsystem.
Itisrecommendedthatachildrestraintsystemthat
complieswithUNECE-R44orECE-R129standardare
ttedinthisvehicle.Checkmarkingsonthechildrestraint
system.
Thereareanumberofchildrestraintsystemsavailableof
differenttypeandspecication.Foroptimumprotection,
itisrecommendedthatyouchooserestraintsystems
appropriatetothechild’sageandweight.
Itisimportanttocomplywithinstallationinstructions
suppliedbythechildrestraintmanufacturerandthatany
childrestraintsystemisproperlysecuredtothevehicle.
Failuretofollowtheseinstructionsmaycausedeathor
seriousinjurytothechildinaneventofasuddenstopor
accident.
Thecorrectuseofchildrestraintswillgreatlyreduce
children'sinjuryriskinaccidentsorrelievetheirinjury
severity.Pleasepayattentiontothefollowingwhenyou
usechildrestraints:
•Allchildrenmustuseanappropriatechildrestraint.
•Itisrecommendedthatchildrenunder12yearsofage
orlessthan1.5metrestallshouldusetheappropriate
childrestraintttedtotherearseat.
•NEVERletyourchildrenridewithoutprotection.Care
shouldnotbeneglectedbecauseofchildrensittingon
thechildrestraint.
•Onlyonechildcanbecarriedineachchildrestraint.
•DONOTputthechildonthelaporinarmswhensitting
inanyseat.
•Properchildrestraintcanprovideprotectionforyour
children.
•Alwaysadjustthesecond-rowseatbackresttoa
centralpositionandensureitislockedinpositionwhen
installingachildseatorrestraint.
